(1) Introduction-An ideal teacher is really a boon. An ideal teacher imparts knowledge to his pupils, looks after them and watches all of their activities carefully. He feels overjoyed seeing his disciples making progress.

He is called the "builder of the nation". In fact, the progress and future of a country depends upon its teachers. An ideal teacher always inspires his students to rise to greater heights to attain knowledge. He moulds the character of students like a magician. There are many teachers in my college, but I like Shri Mahesh Gupta the most. He is my favourite teacher. He is also my class teacher.

(2) His qualification, dress and appearance-He is an M.A. English, B.Ed. He has thorough knowledge of English Literature. He wears white Kurta and Dhoti in summer. He wears a long woollen coat in winter. He is about fifty years old. He is tall, healthy and well built. He is always smiling.

(3) His behaviour-His behaviour is very fine. He has love for his students. He helps the poor students by paying their school fees. He gives free couching to the weak students at his house. He never loses his temper. He always treats the staff members as his brothers and all the students as his own sons and daughters.

(4) His method of teaching-His method of teaching is very easy, effective and interest- ing. He is the master of his subject. He is always ready to remove difficulties.

(5) His qualities (reasons of my liking) He has all the qualities of an ideal teacher. He is a man of character. He is regular, punctual, and hard-working. He always guides the students properly and inspires them to work hard. He is kind hearted. He is also a good sportsman. He has created interest for debates among the students. He teaches us sincerely and lovingly. He removes our difficulties in a simple and sweet manner.

(6) Conclusion-Thus, my teacher has all the good qualities of an ideal teacher. Teachers like him are rarely found in the society. I am proud of having such an ideal teacher. May he live long to guide us!
